About The Position

Vituity is seeking Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians for a Hospitalist opportunity at Union Hospital Clinton, Union Regional Hospital, and Union Hospital Terre Haute in Terre Haute, Indiana. This role is within a 230-bed facility that is a Level III Trauma Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and an Accredited Chest Pain center. The hospitalist group handles approximately 81,600 encounters annually. The position requires no procedures and minimal vent management. Vituity provides scribe support, substance use navigators, patient care navigators, and clinical care coordinators. Integrated care solutions are available through Vituity-staffed Emergency Departments and teleneurologists.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians.
• Current IN state license is a plus.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents are desired.
• Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist services at Union Hospital Clinton, Union Regional Hospital, and Union Hospital Terre Haute.
• Manage approximately 81,600 patient encounters annually as part of the hospitalist group.
• Work within a 230-bed facility with a 25-bed hybrid ICU.
• Adhere to standards for a Level III Trauma Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain center.
• Perform minimal vent management.
• Collaborate with Vituity scribe support, substance use navigators, patient care navigators, and clinical care coordinators.
• Utilize integrated care solutions offered by Vituity-staffed Emergency Departments and teleneurologists.
