About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated, BC/BE Internal Medicine trained Hospitalist to join our hospital-employed team as a Nocturnist in Jasper, IN. This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity with a night shift focus and a block schedule of 7 on and 14 off, resulting in 175 shifts per year. The role involves working in an open ICU with 26 beds and a Medical unit with 29 beds. Required procedures include intubations and basic vent management, with preferred experience in central & arterial lines and emergent para/thoracentesis. The position utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- BC/BE Internal Medicine trained Hospitalist.
- Intubations and basic vent management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Central & arterial lines experience.
- Emergent para/thoracentesis experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide nocturnist coverage in an open ICU and Medical unit.
- Perform intubations and basic vent management.
- Perform central & arterial lines (preferred).
