About The Position
Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group (NMRMG) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) moonlighter (casual) hospitalist to join their team of 23 hospitalist physicians. This role involves working shifts at NM Kishwaukee Hospital and/or NM Valley West hospitals. The program operates 24/7 with in-house physicians. The medical group is physician-led, emphasizing leadership, wellness, and work-life balance, and boasts exceptional physician satisfaction and retention rates. Hospital privileges will be granted at NM Kishwaukee Hospital (DeKalb, IL) and NM Valley West (Sandwich, IL). The position utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system. The DeKalb County community is described as a warm, vibrant city with suburban sophistication, offering four seasons of recreation, arts, and entertainment. It is located 60 miles west of Chicago and is near Northern Illinois University and Kishwaukee Community College. The area also offers a strong diverse workforce, a great school district, and a thriving business community.
