About The Position

Deaconess Specialty Physicians is seeking a fellowship-trained Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon to join our growing, multidisciplinary Cancer Service Line. This is a unique opportunity to practice high-acuity surgical oncology in a collaborative, resource-rich environment. A new Comprehensive Cancer Center is coming in 2028, which will bring together cutting-edge technology, leading specialists, and compassionate, coordinated care. This opportunity offers the ability to help lead and shape a growing high-complexity surgical oncology service, including advanced resections and reconstruction, supported by specialized ICU, respiratory, and critical care teams experienced in caring for Head & Neck oncology patients. Work alongside a team of experts from various specialties to provide patient-centered and comprehensive care to our patients with a Head and Neck/Cutaneous tumor board already established.

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon
  • BC/BE in Otolaryngology
  • AHNS-accredited fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology Surgery
  • 3+ years’ experience preferred (open to current fellows)
  • Research experience encouraged

Responsibilities

  • Practice high-acuity surgical oncology.
  • Perform advanced resections and reconstruction.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts.
  • Participate in Head and Neck/Cutaneous tumor boards.
  • Provide patient-centered and comprehensive care.
  • Potentially participate in ENT facial/trauma call, based on surgeon preference and experience.
