About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified physician, fellowship trained in gynecologic oncology, to lead and expand a community-based program. The current program offers advanced minimally invasive and radical surgery, chemotherapy, clinical trials, and specialized clinics for benign gynecology, preinvasive and high-risk screening, survivorship, sexual health, and lifestyle. The role involves clinical research, including participation in pharma and cooperative group trials, and outcomes-based research. Advanced laparoscopic and robotic skills are strongly preferred. The physician will join the medical staff at Northwestern Medicine’s Huntley and McHenry Hospitals, contributing to a well-established oncology program in the northwest suburbs.

Requirements

BE/BC physician who is fellowship trained in gynecologic oncology.

Responsibilities

Lead and expand a community-based gynecologic oncology program.
Provide cutting-edge minimally invasive and radical surgery, chemotherapy, and clinical trial access.
Offer specialized clinics for complex benign gynecology, preinvasive and high-risk screening, survivorship, sexual health, and lifestyle.
Engage in clinical research, including clinical trials through pharma and cooperative groups, and outcomes-based research.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, radiologists, hematologists, surgeons, and urologists.
Participate in multidisciplinary GYO tumor boards.
Provide care at Northwestern Medicine Huntley and McHenry Hospitals.
