About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a part-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Wound Care physician to join us at our practices in Munster and Dyer, Indiana. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. The clinic schedule is 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. This position involves 24 hours of patient care per week (0.6 FTE) and includes specialty wound care RN support. The outpatient volume is expected to be 20-24 patients per day.

Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Wound Care
Doctorate Required
Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
Wound Care Certification – Upon Hire or with a commitment to obtain within 2 years
