About The Position
Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) has an immediate opening for a full-time General Gastroenterologist to join the current 7 provider practice (6 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, and 1 physician assistant) with excellent growth potential. The practice offers a full scope of general gastroenterology services, with hospital group call shared among 6 physicians. The offices are spacious and new, located immediately adjacent to the hospital, and include an on-site surgery center for outpatient procedures. An integrated EMR (EPIC) is used in both the office and hospital, and strong office support staff is available. The hospital is equipped with the latest da Vinci robotic-assisted technology for specially trained surgeons and offers general surgery support. It is affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco.
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology
- An active and unrestricted California Medical License
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 years of experience preferred but not required
- Robotics training is ideal but not required
