About The Position

Virtua Health is seeking an outpatient Gastroenterologist to join its team in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. This employed, office-focused position provides care to a diverse patient population and does not require hospital rounding or hospital call. The role offers a predictable schedule with office-only call requirements and potential for professional growth, leadership involvement, and the opportunity to buy into an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The starting salary is $461,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, internal equity, and market data. The position is eligible for a productivity incentive bonus in accordance with the employment agreement. Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist.
Strong interest in outpatient care with a focus on gastroenterology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
