About The Position
Gastroenterology opportunity at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) seeks a gastroenterologist to join a well-established and expanding hospital practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
Requirements
- Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.
- Must have completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Must be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with digestive disorders including liver disease, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, cancers and other disorders of the gastrointestinal system in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.
