About The Position

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic care team. This role provides comprehensive, patient centered primary care in an outpatient setting and serves as a clinical resource for advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams. The physician practices in accordance with TFHC policies and procedures and supports the mission of a Patient Centered Medical Home, emphasizing continuity of care, access, and long term health outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school
  • Completion of required postgraduate clinical training as accepted by the applicable state licensing authority
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted Florida medical license
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification
  • Commitment to maintaining required continuing medical education credits and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care including preventive care, acute visits, chronic disease management, and family planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
  • Prepare billing charges and complete clinical tasks in accordance with organizational policies
  • Make appropriate referrals for diagnostic testing, specialty care, treatment, and follow up services
  • Participate in daily care team huddles, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and teach residents, medical students, and allied health professionals as applicable
  • Support accreditation readiness, clinical quality metrics, and organizational performance goals
  • Provide clinical oversight of care delivered by advanced practice providers, laboratory, and nursing staff
