About The Position

Indiana Health Centers, Inc. (IHC) is a mission-driven organization providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to underserved and uninsured populations since 1977. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, IHC specializes in integrated care, offering essential services to meet the needs of patients in the community. With ten healthcare centers, eight Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition program locations, a Mobile Health Unit, and in-house Pharmacy services (select locations), IHC offers primary medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to diverse community-based patient populations throughout Indiana. IHC invites compassionate Family or Internal Medicine physicians (M.D./D.O.) to join their dedicated team to bring exceptional medical care to the underserved communities of Southern Indiana. This role is described as more than a career—it’s a mission to transform lives, offering the unique opportunity to lead with integrity, inspire hope, and provide compassionate, high-quality care to those who need it most. IHC values empathy and respect and welcomes both seasoned professionals and new graduates. The physician will split duties between IHC Owen County (Spencer) and IHC Bedford clinics, focusing 100% on outpatient care in a supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance, flexible schedules, no weekends or evenings, and off on major holidays. The role also offers onsite Integrated Behavioral Health, opportunities for professional growth and development, and uses eClinicalWorks EMR within a team-based collaborative care model.
