About The Position

This is a full-scope outpatient family medicine position located in a low-cost Central Texas market. The role is based at a large, full-service medical center which is a teaching hospital campus with both inpatient and outpatient services. The facility offers on-site imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy, supported by a broad multispecialty medical staff. Administrative tasks such as scheduling, nursing, and ancillary support are handled by dedicated teams, allowing the physician to focus on clinical duties. The patient population consists of stable, insured, and largely young to middle-aged families and working adults.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license in any state — Texas licensure is not required
• Board certified in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Family Medicine
• One year of family medicine practice within the last three years

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to an adult and pediatric outpatient panel
• Manage chronic disease, preventive care, and acute visits in a clinic setting
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies; refer to specialty care as indicated
• Document encounters in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and care-management staff
