About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient clinic within a nationally recognized health system. The Family or Internal Medicine Physician will deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services in a clinic-based practice.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • For Board Eligible candidates, board certification must be achieved within three years.
  • Active Michigan medical license or the willingness to obtain one.
  • DEA certification required.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CSL.
  • Clean malpractice history and licensing profile.
  • Proven experience with EPIC EMR.
  • Availability to work a Monday–Friday schedule.
  • Submission of the most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
  • Candidates who are graduating in 2026 and 2027 are welcome to apply, with the understanding that board certification will be required within three years post-graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum outpatient primary care to adult and/or family medicine patients.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Conduct preventive care visits, annual wellness examinations, and routine follow-ups.
  • Develop long-term treatment plans and facilitate coordination of care with specialists as necessary.
  • Document clinical interactions comprehensively and timely using the EPIC EMR system.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Participate in shared on-call responsibilities as designated.
  • Meet productivity expectations encompassing 36 weekly patient-contact hours.
  • Allocate 4 administrative hours weekly for charting, care coordination, and ancillary tasks.
  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care within a supportive outpatient clinic environment.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established organizational standards of care.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with patients and the local community.
  • Support continuity of care and engage in patient education initiatives.
  • Comply with all organizational requirements related to compliance, credentialing, and clinical standards.
