Visas Accepted H1B or J1 Specialty Family Medicine Practice Details Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join our primary care practice in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site. - 100% outpatient practice with flexible scheduling that can support a 4-day work week - Work alongside a great group of providers with a nice mix of experience - Multiple specialties and sub-specialty support on site - Nurse line is 1st call and call is 1:8 (phone call only) - Excellent work-life balance (support for job sharing) We strongly encourage our physicians to be involved in medical education and research to continue building our strong foundation of patient care, research and education for years to come.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or he Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/ subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable.
  • Applicants who are not board certified at the time of application but who have completed their residency training within the last five years shall be eligible, however must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training unless the appropriate governing Board waives such requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination.
  • Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders of circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, integumentary, nervous, female reproductive, and genitourinary systems.
  • Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients.
  • Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients.
  • Address return to work issues.
  • Be involved in medical education and research.
