About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for a Family Medicine Physician to provide coverage from September 21, 2026, to December 18, 2026. The role is based in a clinic and outpatient/hospital setting, focusing on primary care for adult and geriatric patients. The average daily caseload is 10-16 patients. No trauma care is involved. The physician will utilize the Epic EMR system.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Virginia Medical License or ability to secure one prior to the starting date
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• DEA registration

Nice To Haves

• Limited procedural experience in the office setting is noted.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services in a clinic and outpatient/hospital setting.
• Manage an average caseload of 10-16 patients per day.
• Perform procedures such as Pap smears and diabetic foot exams.
• Utilize the Epic Electronic Medical Record system.
