About The Position
St. Luke’s Payette Lakes is seeking a board certified/board eligible family medicine physician with surgical obstetrics to join their primary care team. This is a combined inpatient/ambulatory opportunity at the Payette Lakes Clinic, serving patients of all ages. The role emphasizes a medical home concept, focusing on continuous provider relationships for both wellness and illness care. The clinic offers a wide range of services including women’s health, obstetrics, annual exams, immunizations, family planning, and disease management. This position specifically includes obstetrics, cesarean sections, newborn nursery care, pediatric call, and assisting with cesarean sections. The site is located in a HPSA shortage area, potentially making it eligible for student loan repayment programs.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible family medicine physician.
- Surgical obstetrics skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive care and treatment for specific conditions or acute illnesses for patients of all ages.
- Coordinate care for both wellness and illness as part of a medical home concept.
- Offer a wide scope of services, including women’s health, obstetrics, annual exams, immunizations for children and adults, family planning, and disease management.
- Perform obstetrics, cesarean sections, and newborn nursery care.
- Participate in pediatric call.
- Assist with cesarean sections.
