About The Position
WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Family Medicine Physician to practice in Oakland, Maryland. This Primary Care physician is needed to serve under a grant awarded to a Faith Based Mission-driven Clinic in a poverty-stricken area of Oakland, Maryland with a significant homeless population.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible to obtain a state medical license.
- Completed an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med-Peds.
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med-Peds.
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and continuous care.
- Offer preventative care.
- Treat acute and chronic illness.
- Manage medication.
- Coordinate care with specialists.
