This role involves both outpatient and inpatient care for patients aged 18 and older.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Florida Medical License.
• Spanish speaking is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Florida Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient endocrinology care.
• Manage a patient panel seeing 18-year-old through geriatric patients.
• Utilize Epic for efficient patient management, aiming to see 20-23 patients per day.
• Practice preventative care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.
• Collaborate with a dedicated clinic support team, including a medical assistant, front office staff, supervisor, and Associate Director.
• Work in a team-oriented environment with like-minded physicians, primary care providers, and specialists.
• Leverage the support of Hospital Medicine physicians for inpatient and long-term care needs.
• Participate in leadership opportunities within the group.
• Contribute to the practice as an Accountable Care Organization.
