About The Position

Deaconess Clinic is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist to join their established and expanding practice in Henderson, Kentucky. This is an opportunity to join a well-supported, collaborative team focused on patient care and community impact. Deaconess Clinic is a premier multi-specialty group with over 400 providers across more than 60 locations. The practice offers a team-based, patient-centered approach, allowing physicians to practice at the top of their license. The endocrinology team includes experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), pharmacists, and Registered Dietitians who collaborate to provide comprehensive patient care. The clinic utilizes state-of-the-art facilities with Epic EMR for efficient care coordination.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Active medical license or ability to obtain one in Kentucky.
  • DEA license.
  • Commitment to a team-based, patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

  • Interest in teaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide endocrine care in an outpatient setting with dedicated procedure time.
  • Manage inpatient consults and hospital-based cases as part of an integrated care model.
  • Collaborate with a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), pharmacists, and Registered Dietitians.
  • Conduct metabolic education sessions for patients.
  • Participate in regional outreach opportunities.
  • Engage in clinical research (optional).
  • Participate in teaching and mentorship opportunities with the Deaconess Family Medicine Residency and IU School of Medicine – Evansville.
