About The Position

PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center is hiring a full-time, 0.8 FTE Emergency Medicine Physician in Florence, Oregon. The physician will join a mission-based, collaborative team of Emergency Medicine-boarded physicians focused on patient safety and compassionate care for local residents and visitors to the Oregon coast. The Emergency Department has single-physician coverage, with additional physician and advanced practice clinician coverage during peak hours, supported by experienced ED nurses and technicians. The role includes twelve 12-hour shifts per month, consisting of half days and half nights. The department sees more than 12,000 visits annually and operates as a Level IV Trauma Center with two trauma bays. The hospital provides access to the capabilities of a larger hospital and transfer center, with laboratory, radiology, and respiratory therapy services available 24/7. Hospitalist, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, OB/GYN, and CRNA services are also available 24/7. Visa sponsorship is available. Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical care to patients at Peace Harbor Medical Center.
Support safe, compassionate care for the Florence community and visitors to the Oregon coast.
Work collaboratively with Emergency Medicine physicians, advanced practice clinicians, ED nurses, and technicians.
