About The Position

Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians who are all equitable owners. Vituity has opportunities at 900 practices across the country, serving over 14.5 million patients annually, with the ability to transfer jobs between locations. This specific opportunity is at a 16-bed facility and Level IV Trauma Center in Reedsport, Oregon, with a 2-bed Emergency Department serving approximately 15,000 patients annually. The patient mix is primarily middle-aged and retirement-aged, with some pediatric and family cases, and seasonal traffic from the nearby Dunes recreation area. Sub-specialty backup includes general and trauma surgery, orthopedics, hospitalists, and PCP offices. The facility offers room for career growth and learning opportunities.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
  • At least six (6) months of Emergency Medicine experience.
  • Active board certification in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • Active ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
  • Certification in Emergency Medicine OR working on obtaining a certification in Emergency Medicine through the Board of Certification in Emergency Medicine (BCEM) if under 5 years of experience.
  • Current OR state license is a plus.
  • At least one letter of recommendation from a board-certified emergency medicine physician attesting to clinical knowledge and skills in emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medicine care.
  • Work in a 16-bed facility and Level IV Trauma Center.

  • Handle approximately 15,000 annual patient visits.
