The role involves working at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, California, a Level II trauma facility with 33 ED beds and an annual patient volume of 100,000+. The hospital is a large tertiary care facility with excellent sub-specialty coverage, including a 24-hour catheterization lab and STEMI receiving center capabilities. The facility is equipped with a portable GE Ultrasound machine and a GE 64 slice CT scanner, and offers extensive on-call panel and subspecialists. There is also an opportunity to work with residents through Family Practice and Orthopedic Residency Programs.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
• Current CA state license is a plus.
• Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Level II trauma facility with 33 ED beds and an annual ED patient volume of 100,000+.
• Work with a 24-hour catheterization lab and serve as a STEMI receiving center.
• Utilize a portable GE Ultrasound machine and GE 64 slice CT scanner.
• Collaborate with extensive on-call panels and subspecialists, including neurosurgery, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and interventional radiology.
• Opportunity to work with residents via Family Practice and Orthopedic Residency Programs.
