About The Position

This is a permanent, full-time position for an Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist in Dothan, AL. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient clinical and procedural coverage. The physician will manage adult cardiology patients with arrhythmias and related conditions, performing EP procedures and device management. Admissions are covered by the hospitalist program, and rounding is limited. The position offers a highly competitive compensation package with a productivity bonus, paid malpractice with tail, paid interview expenses, a $100k signing bonus, employer-funded retirement, health/dental/disability/life insurance, CME/licensure allowance, and student loan repayment eligibility (PSLF). Requirements

• Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in EP Cardiology
• Fellowship training in Electrophysiology
• Comfortable with advanced EP procedures and collaborative cardiology care
• Hospital privileges required

Responsibilities

• Perform EP procedures including ablations and device placements
• Manage heart failure and arrhythmia patients
• Collaborate with general and interventional cardiology teams
• Work with robust referral base from a 13-county region
• Participate in academic opportunities via ACOM and residency programs
• Perform EP studies
• Perform Right and left sided ablations
• Perform Atrial fibrillation (AF) and ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablations
• Perform Pacemaker implantation
• Perform CRT and heart failure device management
• Provide phone consults
