Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine physicians.
• DEA Licensure required.
• Current CA state license is a plus.
• CCHP-P Certified preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care within a correctional health setting.
• Manage patient care across multiple sites including Hi-Desert Detention Center, Central Detention Center, and San Bernardino County Detention Facility.
• Perform duties in a facility with 5 exam rooms and 16 units.
• Provide on-site Dialysis Sweep and Suicide Watch.
• Offer services during facility hours of M-F 8am-5pm.
• Care for a patient mix ranging from 18 months to 101 years old.
• Ensure X-ray services are available seven days a week.
• Collaborate with a separate mental health facility.
