About The Position
The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist under direct supervision from the Market Clinical Informatics Director and according to established policies and procedures functions as an electronic medical record (EMR) system expert. This role is primarily responsible for training clinicians to efficiently use the Cerner EMR and to proactively provide at the elbow support to clinicians throughout the hospital. The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist will at times assist in the implementation, support, and optimization of the EMR and other clinical systems.
Requirements
- Electronic medical record (EMR) system expertise.
- Proficiency in training clinicians on EMR usage.
- Ability to provide at the elbow support.
- Experience with EMR implementation, support, and optimization.
