About The Position

This is a full-time, weekday physician clinic role with opportunities for additional Express Care shifts. The role involves coordinating clinic activities, providing patient care, managing supplies and equipment, and collaborating with healthcare providers. Responsibilities include rooming patients, documenting vital signs, assisting with patient care, and performing clerical duties. The position requires adherence to approved Standards of Practice.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma
Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Nebraska
Current CPR/BLS certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program
Currently licensed as a Medication Aide – 40 Hour in the State of Nebraska
Current CPR/BLS

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Previous physician clinic and EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinates clinic activities for assigned clinic and provides patient care.
Meets approved Standards of Practice.
Manages supplies and equipment in the clinic.
Promotes collaboration with physician and other health care providers.
Rooms patients, obtains and documents vital signs, and completes rooming process for patients of all ages.
Assists nursing personnel with care of patient as directed by director/leader and/or provider within the scope of a Medical Assistant or Medication Aide.
Answers internal and external telephone calls for clinic and performs other clerical duties as directed.
