About The Position

Concentra is seeking a Physician Center Medical Director for a clinic-based position. This role involves direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience. The Medical Director will provide leadership in healthcare management, ensuring the day-to-day execution of the medical model and collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes. The position also includes managing clinicians and support staff, complying with APC supervisory requirements, and creating a professional and collaborative working environment. The Medical Director will work with leaders to identify and implement changes for continuous medical clinic improvement, maintain relationships with center clients and payers, and manage clinical and support staffing levels with the medical clinic leadership team. Additionally, the role involves promoting Concentra values, fostering an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition. The position requires financial awareness and input into the clinic budget and key business metrics.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted medical license
  • Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date)
  • Must be eligible to participate in Medicare

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
  • FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain
