About The Position

Corewell Health East is seeking a nationally recognized cardiologist to serve as the Director of the Cardiac MR program in the Heart and Vascular Service Line at Corewell Health East. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a nationally recognized cardiovascular program with a long tradition of excellence in patient care, education, research and innovation. The Director will lead a high-volume cardiac MR program at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital to advance a coordinated strategy for high quality cardiac imaging, expand access to MR, and strengthen research and education to position Corewell Health East as a destination center for advanced imaging. The successful candidate will be a nationally recognized cardiac imaging specialist and physician leader with an outstanding track record of program development, innovation, and clinical research to achieve the highest quality patient care and experience. Prior leadership experience in this field is recommended. The Director will serve as a thought leader and be responsible for quality and safety, innovation, education, and financial performance. The candidate will report to the Chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and Chief of the Heart & Vascular Service Line. This is a full-time cardiology position in the Heart & Vascular Service Line with a diverse clinical practice including inpatient and outpatient care, and diagnostic testing. It offers a strong commitment to multidisciplinary care in a collaborative environment, state-of-the-art facilities, access to cutting-edge technologies, and teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and students. There is a faculty appointment at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and opportunities for clinical research and quality improvement. Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac MR
  • Unrestricted License - Michigan MD/DO
  • Unrestricted DEA License
  • Commitment to team-based care
