Physician Billing Assistant shall assist in the Physician Billing Office (PBO) with administrative and clerical tasks associated with the physician billing revenue cycle. This individual will be responsible for sending out secondary claims, filing/scanning of daily batches, sorting and distributing the incoming and outbound mail, and sending out patient itemized statements. Additionally, the Assistant shall assist with the refund process responsible for entering check registers and mailing payments. This individual will be responsible for coordinating department calendar, ordering and maintaining office supplies, and other administrative duties as assigned. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
