Requirements

Licensed Physician Associate in Texas
Current DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Strong procedural skills and clinical decision-making ability
Ability to work independently with physician collaboration
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, pain management, or primary care preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic pain conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans across multiple service lines
Perform procedures including joint injections, trigger point injections, suturing, splinting, and abscess incision & drainage
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation (with scribe support)
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care
Stay current with clinical best practices
