About The Position

RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (required)
  • Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island (required)
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required)
  • Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required)
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care (required)
  • Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment

  • Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
  • See approximately 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles
  • Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes
  • Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians in accordance with Rhode Island regulations, including consultation and referral as appropriate
  • Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
  • Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
  • Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)
  • Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)
  • Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment
