About The Position
MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Thoracic Surgery is recruiting a full-time Physician Associate (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join its care team. Maine Medical Center is a Magnet-designated, 637-bed academic medical center in Portland, Maine. It is the state’s only Level 1 Trauma Center and a tertiary care facility. Portland offers urban amenities alongside a small-town atmosphere, with four-season recreation including skiing, hiking, sailing, and beaches. It is approximately two hours north of Boston and has restaurants and schools. The pay range is $130,666 to $169,097 annually, based on the candidate’s experience. Total compensation may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives, and other premiums. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current license issued by the State of Maine, or eligibility for licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
