About The Position
An orthopedic and injection clinic in California is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide patient care in a specialty outpatient clinic. The role involves evaluating patients with orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal concerns, developing treatment plans with the clinical team, and supporting orthopedic and injection-based treatments consistent with the PA’s training and scope of practice. The position offers an annual salary of $200,000 for experienced candidates, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a full benefits package.
Requirements
- Active Physician Assistant license in California.
- Previous orthopedic experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative outpatient clinic environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients presenting with orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal concerns.
- Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Participate in patient care involving orthopedic and injection-based treatments, consistent with training and scope of practice.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients on treatment options, recovery, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
