About The Position

As a Physician Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you will support a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in both clinical and surgical settings. This role involves supporting clinic and OR/1st assist, rounding responsibilities, and inpatient consults. You will see and manage patients independently in clinical settings, assist in the operating room as needed, and perform hospital and emergency room consultations. Additionally, you will provide follow-ups, inpatient rounding, and participate in call rotation, collaborating with physicians and team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent clinical judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Clear, professional communication with both colleagues and patients
  • Work confidently both independently and as part of a team
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
  • Proactive, dependable, and focused on delivering exceptional care
