About The Position
The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join its Pediatric Emergency Department. Saint Peter's is bringing the Pediatric Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the department. They are recruiting multiple providers to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed Pediatric Emergency Medicine group. The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital is a state-designated acute care children's hospital offering comprehensive pediatric specialty services for patients from birth through age 18. It is centrally located with easy access to New York City and Philadelphia.
Requirements
- National board certification by NCCPA required.
- Current PA license in New Jersey.
- Current CDS and DEA required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required (American Heart Association).
- Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of pediatric or pediatric emergency medicine experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care within the Pediatric Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Potentially work nocturnist roles for additional compensation.
