About The Position
Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced urgent care environment at its South Alex Center in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a part-time opportunity. The position is salaried, with an equivalent hourly rate of $69.00–$77.00 depending on experience, location, and FTE status. Total compensation may include performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. The schedule consists of 19 partial shifts, each from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (four hours): 17 weekday shifts and two weekend shifts. The role is part of a physician-led organization with an integrated care model and access to subspecialty primary care opportunities, informatics specialists, and a telemedicine platform.
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or a post-master’s certificate program.
- For Physician Assistants: graduation from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
- At least one year of full-time experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Virginia licensure as a family nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- DEA license.
- Signed practice agreement and scope of practice/protocol.
- Successful completion of payer credentialing for Medicare and Medicaid.
- Medical Staff credentialing for clinical privileges.
