About The Position

Stamford Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join its cardiothoracic surgery team in a per diem capacity. The position focuses on managing patients in the ICU and on hospital floors, with no required operating room responsibilities. The ideal candidate has significant post-operative cardiothoracic ICU experience and a strong understanding of managing complex post-surgical patients, including those requiring advanced hemodynamic support. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled surgical and critical care team on a flexible per diem schedule. Shifts are 12 or 24 hours, with an approximate commitment of 24 hours per month. The department operates 24/7, including weekends. Pay is $95.00 per hour.
