As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities. The Physician Assistant is responsible for the provisions of integrated healthcare services to adults in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for persons with mental disorders, co-occurring substance abuse and general medical conditions within their scope of practice. The Physician Assistant coordinates integrated care with internal and external providers of mental health, physical health, and substance use disorders. The Physician Assistant monitors hypertension, diabetes, asthma/COPD, overweight, obesity and tobacco use. These responsibilities cover all CNS service lines including but not limited to the public and private practices. While this position is primarily office-based, it may be eligible for some remote work flexibility. On-call is required on a rotation basis.
