About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) in Eufaula, AL, to provide patient-focused care in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. The role encompasses urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. This opportunity emphasizes utilizing the full scope of practice, treating patients of all ages, and leading a small team of medical assistants. The company offers extensive support and training, including for new graduates, with on-site orientation, training shifts, and an NP on-call for clinical decision-making. The position also supports rural communities, with clinics often qualifying for state-funded tuition or student loan reimbursement grants, for which the company assists with the application process. Requirements

Physician Assistant Board Certification required
MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!)
Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?

Nice To Haves

Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

Care for every patient who comes through the door within your scope of practice
Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
Suturing
Splinting
General Orthopedic evaluations/management
Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
General Dermatology
General eye problems
General EKG interpretations
Emergency management skills
General GYN expertise
Treating children of all ages
Occupational medicine
Telemedicine
