About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Physician Assistants to work across multiple clinics in the Cherryville, North Carolina region. The role involves providing care across urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Providers may work with different clinic teams and care for patients of all ages. New graduates are encouraged to apply; applicants who have not yet taken their boards may also apply, but PA certification is required before the start date.

Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinics operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinics, at select locations, operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

The position offers competitive hourly pay with bonus incentives, malpractice insurance, an annual CME allowance, an UpToDate subscription, mileage reimbursement, and paid orientation and training. Requirements

• PA certification is required prior to the start date.
• A master’s degree or higher is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply; applicants who have not yet taken boards may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures, including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Perform suturing and splinting.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays with Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Provide general dermatology, eye complaint, and GYN care.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Work across multiple clinics and teams in the region.
