About The Position

The Physician Assistant provides pediatric care through well-child exams, sick visits, and follow-up evaluations. The role includes obtaining medical histories, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and managing common pediatric conditions, and ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies. The Physician Assistant prescribes medications and develops treatment plans within their scope of practice, monitors growth, development, immunizations, and preventive care needs, and provides patient and parent education, anticipatory guidance, and counseling. The role also includes identifying conditions requiring referral, maintaining timely and accurate medical records, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited PA program.
Current state license.
NCCPA certification.
Excellent clinical and communication skills.

Pediatric experience preferred.
