RP Sol is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant to support our growing practice in Tucson, AZ! This role involves proficiency with fluoroscopic and invasive procedures, such as GI, GU, HSG, arthrograms, steroid joint injections/aspirations, and assisting or performing intravenous contrast injections. The Physician Assistant will monitor patients for adverse reactions, gain experience with paracentesis, thoracentesis, ultrasound/CT guided biopsies, and tunneled catheters. There is an expectation to learn US guided procedures and other new skills over time, and to assist in other departments as needed, including multi-modality imaging (CT, MR, etc.). Responsibilities include reviewing images and providing feedback in the form of a technical report to assist the radiologist, monitoring patient exam status, ensuring necessary documents are completed, and educating patients on their medical care. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with diverse patients and colleagues. The role may also involve assisting management with quality control tasks and daily site schedules. The scope of practice will be determined by the needs of the Radiology department and in accordance with state and/or federal laws.
