About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring a floating Physician Assistant to work across multiple clinics in the Northeast Florida region. The role provides patient-focused care in urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine settings. The ideal applicant is flexible about working with teams at different clinics and can provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment. Shifts are determined two months in advance. MainStreet clinics are generally open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinics listed in the posting are generally open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Work hours may change based on company needs, training, and floating coverage.

Requirements

Physician Assistant board certification.
An MSN or higher education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work with teams in different clinics.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with an EMR.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign-object removal.
Provide suturing and splinting.
Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
Review x-rays, which will also be over-read by a radiologist.
Address general dermatology and eye problems.
Interpret general EKGs.
Provide emergency management.
Provide general gynecological care.
Treat children of all ages.
Provide occupational medicine services.
Provide telemedicine services.
Work across multiple clinics and provide leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment.
