About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Physician Assistants to work across multiple clinics in the Burlington region. The role offers variety in a high-volume environment and requires flexibility to work with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply; applicants who have not yet taken their boards may also apply, but PA certification is required before the start date. Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. The schedule is determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At select KidsStreet locations, weekend hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

Physician Assistant certification is required before the start date.
Master’s degree or higher is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work across multiple clinics and teams.

Nice To Haves

EMR experience preferred.
Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
Suture and apply splints.
Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
Interpret EKGs.
Provide care for general dermatology concerns, eye complaints, and GYN needs.
Treat patients of all ages.
Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Work across multiple clinics and with different teams as needed.
