About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring PRN Physician Assistants to work across multiple clinics in the Liberty, North Carolina region. The role offers variety in a high-volume clinical environment and requires flexibility to work with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates who have not yet taken their boards may also apply, but PA certification is required before the start date. Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. Clinic shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinics operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinics at select locations operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.

Requirements

Physician Assistant certification is required before the start date.
Master’s degree or higher is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work with different teams and clinics in a high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
Provide suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review X-rays, which receive a Radiologist over-read.
Interpret EKGs.
Provide general dermatology, eye complaint, and gynecological care.
Treat patients of all ages.
Apply emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Work across multiple clinics and with different teams as needed.
