Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant related studies.
  • Current and valid New York State Physician Assistant (PA) license.
  • Current NCCPA certification.
  • Current ACLS/BLS certification.
  • Current New York State Infection Control certification.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of experience in orthopedics or rehabilitation.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive rehabilitation care to patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Administer injections, perform minor procedures, and order diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, self-care techniques, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
