About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring PRN Physician Assistants to work across multiple clinics in the Wake Forest, North Carolina region. The role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, a high-volume environment, and working with different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply; certification must be obtained before the start date. Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. Clinic shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. MainStreet clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KidsStreet clinics at select locations are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours may change based on company needs, training, or float coverage.

Requirements

Physician Assistant certification is required prior to the start date.
Master’s degree or higher is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

New graduates are encouraged to apply.
EMR experience is preferred.
Microsoft Office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
Perform suturing and splinting.
Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
Review X-rays with Radiologist over-read.
Interpret EKGs.
Provide care for general dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN concerns.
Treat patients of all ages.
Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Work across multiple clinics and teams in the region.
