About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Live Oak, FL. The PA will provide patient-focused care in an urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine setting. This role is suitable for PAs early in their career, including new graduates, and offers comprehensive training and ongoing support. The position emphasizes utilizing the full scope of practice to treat patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric individuals. The PA will also serve as a leader for their small team, guiding medical assistants and contributing to the support of rural communities. The clinic is open 362 days a year to provide accessible care, and the company assists with applications for tuition reimbursement or student loan reimbursement grants for eligible clinics. Requirements

Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
MSN, or higher education required.
DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (company covers cost).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for every patient who comes through the door within your scope of practice.
Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
Suture.
Splint.
Perform General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
Review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too).
Handle General Dermatology.
Address General eye problems.
Perform General EKG interpretations.
Utilize Emergency management skills.
Demonstrate General GYN expertise.
Treat children of all ages.
Provide Occupational medicine services.
Conduct Telemedicine consultations.
