About The Position

Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide outpatient primary care services at Wagner Indian Health Service in Wagner, South Dakota. The provider will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across the lifespan in a rural outpatient setting. This is an outpatient-only role with an average of 10 to 16 patients per day, with no call or overtime required. It is a long-term assignment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• NCCPA Certified
• Active, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state or territory
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of Family Medicine or General Medicine experience within the past 36 months
• Strong outpatient primary care experience
• Eligible for IHS credentialing and background clearance

Nice To Haves

• EHR experience preferred
