About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is hiring PRN Physician Assistants to work across multiple clinics in the Greenville, North Carolina region. The role is suited to providers who enjoy variety, work well in a high-volume setting, and can adapt to different teams and clinics. New graduates are encouraged to apply; applicants who have not yet taken their boards may also apply, but PA certification is required before the start date. Providers deliver urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services to patients of all ages. The work includes minor procedures, general orthopedic care, and evaluation and treatment of a range of other complaints. Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance. Clinic hours may change according to company needs, training, or float coverage.

Requirements

Physician Assistant certification required prior to the start date.
Master’s degree or higher required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to different teams and clinics in a high-volume environment.

EMR experience preferred.
Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
Perform minor procedures, including toenail and foreign body removals.
Provide suturing and splinting.
Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
Review X-rays, with Radiologist over-read.
Interpret EKGs.
Evaluate and treat general dermatology, eye, and gynecological complaints.
Treat patients of all ages.
Use emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Work across multiple clinics and teams in the region.
